Chad Frantzen is the founder and visionary for Authentic Counsel, LLC, and WealthBuilders Investments, a registered investment advisory firm. Chad has over 25 years of experience serving families in the financial services industry to help them gain financial freedom and clarity. Chad is an entrepreneur, speaker, writer, and thought leader on the topic of Kingdom finance and investing that honors God.
Chad grew up in Diana, Texas and holds a business degree from Texas A&M University, where he also played football as a linebacker and 12th Man. He holds a Master's of Divinity (M. Div.) from Global Awakening Theological Seminary. Professionally, Chad is registered as a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ (CFP®) and specializes in advanced wealth management planning. Chad enjoys bridging the gap between biblical principles of finance and leadership with the wise stewardship of financial resources. Serving in the role of a financial coach and encourager to others brings Chad great satisfaction. When families have big goals and complex situations, Chad is often found at the center of those discussions to create a strategy that provides confidence and clarity in full alignment with the family's values and purpose.
He hosts a podcast, The Kingdom Finance Show, and is the author of The Kingdom Investor. Chad is an active member of The Christian Economic Forum, Kingdom Advisors, and the CFP® Board for Financial Planning. He also serves as a guest lecturer at Charis Bible College and Texas A&M University.
Chad enjoys time with family, sports, traveling, hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. As a Texas A&M alumni, you can find him following his favorite collegiate team's athletics. He loves to read and continually learn, encourage others in their Christian faith, and explore new adventures with God. Creating a kingdom legacy impact is a priority in work and relationships. Chad and his wife, Kelli, are proud parents of two amazing world changers-- Tyler and Hannah. They also have 2 fun-loving lab dogs and a funny cat named Maple Sugar.
Matthew serves as Vice President of WealthBuilders Investments and serves on the executive leadership team. Matthew has over twenty years of experience in the financial services industry. He previously worked at Fisher Investments and Churchill Management Group and played a pivotal role in the growth of both of these successful investment firms. Matthew has a strong background in economics and enjoys providing market commentary to clients that helps bridge the realities of the current world with faith.
Matthew has a passion for serving people from all walks of life and sharing his love for Christ. On any given day you might see Matthew walking around with his best friend, Chloe, a shih tzu.

Karen Adams Brinkley handles all the day-to-day operations of the office including client service and communication, as well as administrative operations. She is an advocate for our clients to help answer their needs.
With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, Karen has worked as a former bond trader with a national brokerage firm and an equity trader with a Texas-based money management firm. She also has experience as an executive assistant to the Executive Vice President of that same firm.
Ms. Brinkley also has an interesting hobby. She is a licensed pilot and owns a Vietnam era plane that she flies with the Commemorative Air Force. She spends most of her time out of the office working on her plane. Yes, Ms. Brinkley does most of her own mechanical work. You can usually see Karen Adams Brinkley and her plane at any of the local air shows around Texas and other surrounding states.
In 2021, Billy formed a strategic partnership with Chad Frantzen, founder of Authentic Counsel, LLC, to create WealthBuilders Investments, a boutique full-service investment advisory firm in response to the growing need of everyday investors who wanted to apply Biblical ethics to their finances and create a global impact with their resources.
I am a serial entrepreneur who has started seven businesses and owned two different franchises. However, my favorite way to build wealth is through real estate investing. Over the years, I have owned several investment properties across five different states. I have failed a lot, but I just happened to have succeeded a little more! In companies, nonprofits, writing, and products, my mission is to help people make sense of making money for making a difference. Some of my favorite topics to teach on are entrepreneurship, leadership, real estate investing, personal development, and social impact investing. When I’m not working at WealthBuilders, you can find me at Charis Business School where I am the CEO and a regular teacher.
The best part of my life isn’t anything I previously mentioned. It’s my family! I have been married to my lovely wife Becky for 48 years. We have two children, Brooke and Brant, one daughter-in-law, Abi, and four grandsons, Brayden, Nolan, Camden, and Owen. Whenever I have free time I enjoy spending time with them and fly fishing!
